For the rain it raineth everyday...
A request for a friend (from Manchester, obviously ^_^).
Got to love British weather... and believe me when I say that Manchester IS the capital of rain. The building in the background is the Round Library, and here's a little piece of advice; DON'T DRAW LANDMARKS WITHOUT REFERENCE. I got about half-way into this before I realised I couldn't remember how wide it is in relation to the building next to it
So no matter how familiar you are with a location don't get carried away. I've been to St Peter's square (where this picture is set) so often I can't even start to guess how many times; I got off at this stop everyday when I was doing foundation art at MMU (Manchester Metropolitan University), but even so it was ten-times easier when I found a photo to help.
In other news, taxi's are fun to do, and I have SO many drawings to do before Christmas I think my hand is going to fall off, so I'm sellotaping it in place before I start any more pictures.
