Okay, this one's up for you to decide, but seeing as it's never said who caused the explosion that killed him, I think it's fair enough to say that J.K. herself killed Fred.

Damnit. I still love her for writing the books, but why?! WHY?!!!!

...And don't answer that, I already know, and I knew he was going to die before I even started the book, I just had a feeling. I won 50p on a bet for it actually. I really wish I hadn't, I threw the coin down the gutter because I couldn't look at it.

More funnies soon, but I needed to draw this because it just struck me as a cheesy-horror film poster rip-off that would be interesting to do. Experimenting with the shadows and all so it's pretty crap, sorry. I don't think I've ever drawn one of the Weasley twins looking afraid before, so that was new- I was thinking about how he'd be afraid of the prospect of leaving George alone, rather than dying- I don't think that's Fred's boggart.

There's far too much spilt 'ink' in book 7.

I don't even know what to say, really.

I love this piece, though; it strikes me as oddly funny yet dead serious at the same time, something that suits the Twins very much.

Nice job. I love the close-up on the pen (quill? ergh...), and his expression.

Death is not the greatest loss in life.
The greatest loss in life is what dies inside us while we live.

Reminds me of a play I saw once where Sherlock Holmes realizes that someone is trying to kill him. He investigates and finds the assassin to be.. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

...I don't suppose it would make you feel better to point out that it was always more likely that one of the Weasley Twins would die, since she had a spare? ^^; Sorry. Bad taste.

Thanks! I spent a lot of time looking at the nib of my own dip-ink quill pen, thing, wotsit... you know, I don't even know what to call it myself! Thanks for the comment though, very much appreciated (and first! Go for the win!).

OHMYGOSH!! NOOOO!! FRED!! MY POOR FRED!! DDX Poor Fred, he's so scared, being overshadowed by Jo. T____T

Yeah, I wish she told who caused the explosion, so I had some one to direct my sadness and anger to. Grrr..

I do love Jo too, she's a brilliant writer, but MY GOD. She said two people were going to die, not nineteen. And, and...WHY NOT KILL PERCY!? OR GINNY!? They have their fans too. Fred was innocent. T____T

I was thinking about how he'd be afraid of the prospect of leaving George alone, rather than dying- I don't think that's Fred's boggart.

Yeah, I agree. I'm pretty sure that's what he'd be scared of. Leaving George, or George leaving him. T_____T

Someone told me before I read the book at the end of a fanfiction BEFORE the book was released "Omg! Guess what? Apparently FRED DIES IN THE LAST BOOK." I was like "Thanks a lot bitch. D:" But I agree. JK must have killed him herself. XD I think out of all the deaths it was the most shady and unnecessary. Nice piece though. =D

"I went into the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life... to put to rout all that was not life; and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."

I love Neil Perry.

I'm going to start crying all over again!
I hate her for killing people when she really really doesn't have to! I can't imagine George without Fred! It's just not right! :shakefist:

I don't think too much "ink" was spilled though. x_x War and all.

Ha, another Weasley art of yours that I fav.

My dad and I think it would have been more suiting for Percy to die.

Is it bad that it took me a minute to figure out whose shadow that was? x.e
